The original version of Fetal was made in 2000-2001 as a high school animation project, and managed to win awards at several high school and national film festivals. This Special Edition features remastered video and an all-new (rights cleared) version of "Winter" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. A little director's commentary: Among the stylistic inspirations for this film include Bill Plympton (we watched him a lot in class), and Pearl Jam's Do the Evolution music video directed by Todd McFarlane.
