UNC Mascot Jason Ray leads the Carolina band in the first round of the 2007 NCAA tournament in Winston-Salem, NC.
Tragically, Jason Ray was hit by an SUV while going back to his hotel before the Sweet 16 game against USC. He died a few days later.
He obviously loved being the Carolina mascot. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
After his death, Jason Ray became a hero. His organs were donated to others who needed them.
