alright, my first naruto amv on sony vegas! haha, a preview! These are so painful, I know, but I thought i'd keep my channel updated :3 well, this is a preview of one of my three projects right now...heheh, yeah, i have 3 going on right now. i finally finished this video! i know it's been since like last year...lol, around Nov. or something, that i've actually worked on it, but the last few days i worked diligently and was able to finally get it done! it was much easier to do it over the wonderful break, too :) I need to say straight up, i apologize for the horrible lag...sometimes it cuts out some of the flashes that i put in and it's just really annoying...also, i want to explain something. The first part of my video looks VERY blurry...well, that's all thanks to a complication in vegas which completely messed up that part of my video...so i had to fix it up, and that cost me the quality...it really does look a lot better in windows media player, so if u want the video, just ask me. (i'm not sure about a download link yet...) Well, time to talk about the vid. It's Kataang, the song is Already Over by Red...and it's about the love Aang and Katara share. It's from Aang's viewpoint, and it's all about how, even though he's the avatar and he's had to make a lot of sacrifices, he still loves Katara, despite all his problems and challenges. This video is more about the dark side of Kataang, and i just love doing that part of Kataang because it's fun and it's something that people don't usually think about or make videos on. The chorus lyrics are as follows: "I give it all to you, Letting go of me, Reaching as I fall. I know it's already over now, Nothing left to lose, Loving you again. I know it's already over, already over now." Just a little bit of a helper. Most of the places I've looked at for the lyrics had them incorrect, so I just thought i would put them here for convenience. :) Sorry about this--I had to shorten the song. It was insane...like 4 minutes long! I couldnt handle that...and if i was ever to get it finished in time for you guys, i had to edit the song. Well, first thing's first: I'm going to put the chorus lyrics just in case, it's kind of hard to understand them. "Hands like secrets are the hardest thing to keep from you, lines and phrases like knives your words can cut me through dismantle me down (repair) you dismantle me, you dismantle me." And also, just so u know, it starts off kinda slow and peaceful at the beginning of the video, and it seems like it's going to go on like that, but trust me, it gets better at around 2:20 ish. :) Ok, well, this song is called Dismantle Repair and it's by Anberlin. Next, I would like to say, I'm very new at the video making-- this is only my second Vegas video, so instead of pointing out mistakes rudely, tell me what i could improve on and give me constructive criticism, you can even suggest anything you think would work better. This video is about Aang and Katara, and how even though there is a loving, sweet side of Kataang, there is also the "bad" side, which shows in this video. But don't worry Kataangers, this is totally Kataang. Even though it seems like it isn't. Just so you all know, i edited the song-- it's shorter in this video than it actually is. WOW. This was tough. I did this video for a contest, and was worried i wouldn't finish in time, but it's here, and a day to spare. ^^ *UPDATE: ok, i have the results of the contest, and this video won first place. ^^ Well, this is my first officially finished Vegas video. Constructive criticism IS appreciated, especially since this is my first Vegas video, but don't be flaming my video. I was trying to find my style through this video...so there are alot of effects and whatnot. I was testing the effects. So that's why there are lots of them. I did become accustomed to certain effects though. I did go a bit crazy in certain places, but i did my best to make it at least viewable. I'll be honest, i have seen better videos by some very incredibly talented video makers, but I think i did pretty good for my first Vegas video. Well, onto the description. This is about Toph and her blindness, how she doesn't know where she should go, and that she ends up with Aang and his gang. It's not Taang, (although it does seem like it at certain points in the video) it's supposed to refer to Toph finding freedom with Aang to do what she couldn't when she was supervised more than necessary by the request of her parents. This is an amv i made about Jet and Katara. Now, i'm not actually a fan of this couple believe it or not, but while i was fiddling with some clips, this started looking pretty good, so i decided to keep the project going and now im sharing it with everyone. I thought it was kinda sad, but lol, im kinda emotional. and now, for the storyline. it can be a bit confusing just so you know: The beginning starts in Jet's point of view. The parts for him that are black and white (there is only one little section for him at the beginning with black and white) is what he regrets doing. Around the first chorus with Jet, you should see Sephia toned clips. That is for when he is under hypnosis. When its normal colored, he is either trying to break free from the hypnosis, or he is completely out of it. For example, the blinking parts from regular to sephia are where he is trying to break free. after that, we go into Katara's point of view. Anything in black and white is what she remembers of Jet, good or bad. Anything that isnt black and white and is normal colored is present time and what she is doing at the time. Finally, at the end, we are back to where we left off with Jet and Katara together, after Jet broke free from the hypnosis and before Katara starts remembering everything she did with Jet. It finishes from there. There are really random credits at the end, and they kind of ruin the moment. lol =) Im so sry for the long description, but if you'll please keep reading, i'm almost done, i promise! This amv is dedicated to my best friend Stephanie, and there are different reasons for that She is the bestest friend ever and she was one of my first friends when i changed schools.
