This game redefines slow even moreso than a lot of your old RPG's and Castlevania. You can also hold down a or b to stick your sword out permanently to attack enemies after that 2 second delay I complained about (which makes this game feel less fun) but this game is so slow that this difference is negligible. They can sometimes still kill you with sword stuck out if they move into you, what the hell is the point of this? Even worse is that there is a wizard who shoots at you in later levels who shoots at you 3 times faster than you can walk and you walk so slow to a safe zone that it is nearly impossible to avoid; You can block by not moving but it's bad enough that you walk slow and then to slow it down further is the epitome of bad gameplay. Then of course the delay before and after attacking hurts a lot too, if you think you gotta switch to block that shot.

1 Great game, 1 slightly bad game, and a really bad one. Regarding the "not that different" for the upgrades, I once collected 1 powerup while I had the red talisman/cards and it was just the same red thing that can be fired only 3 times at once. Also, in Pocky and Rocky 2, your upgrade system is useless (you only have 1 way to upgrade whereas the 1st one was range with the cards or power with the fireball that even has ricochets of shots at the higher levels) as that 3 mins and 20 seconds I mentioned was with max power alone on that 2nd boss. You're forced to abuse that partner attack.

SNES bad game, Iron Man can even shoot indefinitely while in mid-air, breaking the game. I forgot to show that in the video.

Crappy game, too bad the 1st level recorded poorly by camstudio. Also wanted to show 2nd level.

3 games, 1 movie, craptacular. You can jump in Castelian but it's by moving forward; how counter-intuitive is that?

what a lame game

One of the worst bullet shooters. You do slowly upgrade weapons after the levels though, like for the 2nd level you can buy the rapidfire weapon to shoot a whopping 2 bullets. How crappy is that. I can do that in better games within 20-30 seconds, or even the weakest gun fires faster. Then of course you shoot diagonally when you move up and down so you will miss your target.

Watch that choppy animation.

bosses as bad as Bad Dudes or Marvel Super Heroes War of the gems; an import game review. I fast forwarded the ending; Carnage escapes.

Terrible beat 'em up; the punches slide the enemies.

bad nes game. They have specials when they get the power pellet which makes them broken. Apparently you also choose your partner 1st and then your character.

3 modes of gameplay, pretty bad though.
