My first television appearance. Can you figure out which one is me? People who know me personally know that I was born and raised near the tri-state border of West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. Some refer to the area as the gateway to the Appalachian Smoky Mountains. It's a beautiful area, however, many look down on our culture and residents because we are poor. One of the most important lessons that I have learned thus far in my 48 years, is that money does not make someone a better person. A human beings character is not measured in dollars nor pounds nor the kind of car they drive, the dwelling that is their home. True human character and values such as integrity, honor, respect, good will, honesty and family values are the true wealth that measures a person. I am proud of my past, present and future and I hope that the lessons I have learned in life inspire others to be the best person that they can be.
Some people refer to my life story as a rags to riches back to rags story... you can be the judge if you wish.
Thank you for visiting my channel. Please remember to post comments, subscribe, rate and favorite. It means alot to me.
Kindest Personal Regards,
Cheryl Shuman

I rescued a Brussels Griffon Doggie. So, I picked up Sasha the Brussels Griffon and drove over to Petland to get grooming supplies. If I could, I would have hundreds of animals! I love them so much!

I started vlogging with Youtube when the company first started YEARS before they sold to Google. It's changed alot since the beginning. I've shot thousands of hours of videos documenting everything from my work in Hollywood, to family life to drama, gossip, celebrity justice, you name it... I've been there and done that.
I would like to be more interactive with you who are watching, so if you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask and I'll respond by video.

When I knew Fred 30 years ago in high school, he had long curly hair. I remembered his hair was past his shoulders in beautiful little black ringlets, kind of "Shirley Temple" style. It was adorable how the little curls would spring, if you know what I mean. So we tried an experiment where he didn't cut his hair until now. It had been so long since I had seen him with short hair, that we decided to do a before and after video :-) Then when his daughter saw what we were doing, she wanted to cut her hair too and change the color. This was a fun day with the family.
I hope you enjoy it.
Much love,
Cheryl Shuman

Online Harassment, Cyberstalking, Bully, Gang Safety Tips
You must clearly tell the harasser to stop
Generally more... more...speaking, it is unwise to communicate with a harasser. However, as soon as you determine that you are truly being harassed by someone, you must very clearly tell that person to stop. Simply say something like "Do not contact me in any way in the future" and leave it there. You do not need to explain why, just state that you do not want the person to contact you. Sometimes it is helpful to copy this message to the abuse department of the harasser's ISP. Keep a record of this message for your records. Do not respond to any further messages of any sort from the harasser. Don't have anyone else contact the harasser on your behalf. It is common for the harasser to claim that you are harassing him or her, but if you aren't contacting the person, it is clear that you aren't the harasser.
Save everything
One of the first impulses many harassment victims have is to just delete any communications they've received, and that's a bad idea. It's important to save absolutely every communication you have with the harasser - email, chat logs, ICQ histories, anything. If the harasser has created a web site about you, save copies of it to your local system and have someone you trust who would testify in court for you if necessary to do the same. If you receive any phone calls from the harasser, have them traced immediately (your local phone company can tell you how to do that). If you receive any kind of postal mail or other offline communications, save them (with envelopes, boxes, etc.). Do not destroy any evidence - and do not handle it more than absolutely necessary or permit anyone else to do so. Immediately turn the evidence over to the police. Place envelopes, letters, etc. in plastic bags to protect any possible fingerprints.
Complain to the appropriate parties
It can at times be a little difficult for people to determine who the appropriate party is. If you're harassed in a chat room, contact whoever runs the server you were using. If you're harassed on any kind of instant messaging service, read the terms of service and harassment policies they've provided and use any contact address given there. If someone has created a web site to harass you, complain to the server where the site is hosted. If you're being harassed via email, complain to the sender's ISP and any email service (like Hotmail) used to send the messages. Figuring out who to complain to is one of the areas in which WHOA's volunteers can definitely help you.
Determine your desired result
What do you want to have happen? You need to think about that. Be realistic. It's reasonable to expect that you can get the harasser to stop contacting you. It is reasonable to expect that you can increase your safety online and offline and that of your family. It is not realistic to expect an apology from the harasser or any kind of "payback" or revenge. If you want to file a lawsuit because of something the harasser said about you, find a lawyer who will take the suit, but realize that you'll probably have to pay a lot of legal costs and may not ever get any kind of satisfaction.
Take our advice
You have to be willing to take the advice given to you, or you're wasting your time and ours. If we suggest that you change your email address, there's a good reason for it, even if it is a hassle. If we suggest that you not visit a particular chat room again, there's a good reason for it. Read our Online Safety Tips and follow the advice there.

Now that Pellicano has been found guilty of his crimes, I'm planning on rebuilding my company and thought I would share some of my past with you :-) Stay tuned for more details. Flashback Beverly Hills June 2005 Cheryl Shuman International Headquarters I thought you guys might find some of these videos interesting on how my business actually works. In this video it's a REAL boardroom meeting, not a Donald Trump "Apprentice" boardroom. In this video you will see me along with my staff and some of the interns that I personally financed bringing them to Los Angeles as their benefactor/sponsor. In this particular video, I was negotiating the Dukes of Hazzard deal with American Lemans. The quality of video is not great, because it was shot by some of the interns, but I thought you might find the subject matter interesting :-)
I would love to hear your feedback. As always, I love you guys and I'm working away at rebuilding my life after my battle with cancer. My future is in your hands! Please remember to rate, subscribe, favorite, comment and spread the word about my channel. I'll be meeting with publishers in NYC next week for my book. I'm hoping that they will let me bring my video camera to record the actual meetings!
Love you!

Paris Leaves Jail After Three-Week Stay
By ANDREW DALTON, AP

Filed Under: Entertainment News, Paris Hilton
LYNWOOD, Calif. (June 26) -- It's back to the not-so-solitary-life for Paris Hilton, who walked out of jail early Tuesday into a gathering of cameras and reporters, flashing a beaming smile and waving to the frenzied crowd.
The 26-year-old celebutante wrapped up her three-week stay at the all-women's jail in Lynwood at about 12:15 a.m. She had checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility late June 3, largely avoiding the spotlight, after a surprise appearance at the MTV Movie Awards.
Hilton smiled and waved as she filed past sheriff's deputies and the media, her blond hair pulled back in a braided ponytail. Her parents, Kathy and Rick Hilton, waited in a black sport utility vehicle. Hilton hurried to the vehicle, where she hugged her mother through the SUV's window.
The heiress, who was wearing a sage jacket with white trim over a white shirt and skinny jeans, didn't respond to reporters' questions, but said "hi" to some of the spectators.
"She fulfilled her debt. She was obviously in good spirits. She thanked people as she left," said sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
Chased by photographers in the air and on the street, Hilton eventually made her way from the jail to her grandparents' home in Los Angeles' ritzy Holmby Hills area north of Sunset Boulevard.
The star of the TV reality series "The Simple Life" planned to appear on CNN's "Larry King Live" on Wednesday.
Hilton will complete her probation in March 2009 as long as she keeps her driver's license current and doesn't break any laws. She can reduce that time by 12 months if she does community service that could include a public-service announcement, the city attorney's office has said.
During her stay at the Lynwood facility, Hilton was mostly confined to a solitary cell in the special needs unit away from the other 2,200 inmates.
After spending only three days there, she was released to home confinement by Sheriff Lee Baca for an unspecified medical condition that he later said was psychological.
The following day, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer, who sentenced the hotel heiress, called her back into court and ordered her returned to jail, saying he had not condoned her release.
Hilton left the courtroom in tears calling for her mother and shouting, "It's not right!"
She was then taken to-days in jail. She was released after three weeks for reasons including good behavior.
I'd love to hear your thoughts everybody!
xxox,
Cheryl Shuman
