Christians: Hateful, Homophobic, Hypocritical

Christians:_Hateful,_Homophobic,_HypocriticalHow any Christian can believe that senseless condemnation of the lifestyle choices of gay people can somehow be 'softened' by empty, meaningless 'compassion' for the person himself is nonsense. Separating homosexual acts from homosexual people, by professing to hate the sin but not the sinner, is BULLSHIT. It is hypocrisy of the very worst kind. If you don't respect what the person is or does, you do not respect the person. If you hate what gay people do in the privacy of their own homes, you are a bigot and a homophobe. And if Christianity hates homosexuality, I should have no reservation in saying that I return the sentiment: I hate Christianity. In the true spirit of Biblical teaching, we should all hate Christianity... but not the Christians. Have no respect AT ALL for their opinions, which condemn homosexuals AND homosexuality with their weasel words. Even if it IS a choice, who are Christians to say that it is wrong? Note: this is a new video, not taken from my book 'The Atheists Are Revolting!'. However I do cover religious attitudes to homosexuality in the book. The Atheists Are Revolting! - The new book by Nick Gisburne

The_Atheists_Are_Revolting!_-_The_new_book_by_Nick_GisburneThe new book from Nick Gisburne, available now. Visit http://www.gisburne.com for more information. Back cover information: The Atheists Are Revolting! From The Rational Response Squad to The Blasphemy Challenge. From The God Delusion to The End of Faith and The God Who Wasn't There, atheists are on the move and in the news. Authors such as Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris, and documentary maker Brian Flemming, have set the tone for modern atheism, daring to openly challenge religion in society and to demand equal air time in an increasingly intolerant religious/political environment. Now outspoken atheist Nick Gisburne has written a book for atheists everywhere, at times openly parodying Christianity, but always keeping both eyes firmly on the central, serious theme: give no respect to a belief system based on ancient myths, for which there is no proof. This book hacks at the shiny veneer of 'God is love' and reveals a mythical being with Mafia-like qualities, and the true message of the Christian religion: 'serve God or burn'. Part of the rising phenomenon known as the YouTube Atheists, popular video blogger Nick Gisburne was controversially banned from the site in 2007, but returns with a feast of short, sharp arguments to rattle the foundations of Christianity. This book is a literary middle finger for atheists to raise up high in heated debates with the faithful. Look out, The Atheists Are Revolting! PS All characters in this video are portrayed with the greatest of respect and admiration!

Crime & Punishment: A Lesson in Christian Morality

Crime_&_Punishment:_A_Lesson_in_Christian_MoralityI'm NOT Nick Gisburne. There is only one sin: not believing in God. Anything else will be forgiven. If you don't believe, but live a good life, Christianity teaches that you are wasting your time. No amount of good works will save you from punishment. So what kind of a justice system is that anyway? And where does morality come into it? Zooming on the Orion Nebula

Zooming_on_the_Orion_Nebula11-Jan-2006: In one of the most detailed astronomical images ever produced, the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope is offering an unprecedented look at the Orion Nebula. This turbulent star-formation region is one of astronomys most dramatic and photogenic celestial objects. The crisp image reveals a tapestry of star formation, from the dense pillars of gas and dust that may be the homes of fledgling stars to the hot, young, massive stars that have emerged from their gas-and-dust cocoons and are shaping the nebula with their powerful ultraviolet light. The new picture reveals large-scale structures never seen before, according to C. Robert O'Dell of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, USA "Only with the Hubble Space Telescope can we begin to understand them," ODell said. This sequence zooms on three ground-based images and ends up with the new Hubble image of the Orion Nebula M42. Dark Matter - COSMOS Video News Release(07-Jan-2007) *FIXED*

Dark_Matter_-_COSMOS_Video_News_Release(07-Jan-2007)_*FIXED*For the first time ever, astronomers have been creating a threedimensional map of how the dark matter is distributed across the Universe. An international team of scientists, among them groups from Marseille, the Max-Planck Institutes and Paris have been using data from the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope. The results are published in nature online of 8 January 2007, and at the meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Seattle. This Video News Release discussed this discovery. The colourful demise of a Sun-like star

The_colourful_demise_of_a_Sun-like_star13-Feb-2007: A brand new image taken with Hubbles Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 shows the planetary nebula NGC 2440 - the chaotic structure of the demise of a star. This image, just taken by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope, shows the colourful “last hurrah” of a star like our Sun. The star is ending its life by casting off its outer layers of gas, which formed a cocoon around the star’s remaining core. Ultraviolet light from the dying star makes the material glow. The burned-out star, called a white dwarf, is the white dot in the centre. Our Sun will eventually burn out and shroud itself with stellar debris, but not for another 5 billion years. God is history's biggest torturer *New video: 28 Feb 2007*

God_is_historys_biggest_torturer_*New_video:_28_Feb_2007*To Christianity he is God. To Islam he is Allah. To both of these religions, God is all-loving, the father of mankind, the inspiration for good, for kindness and for peace. In reality, every year God consciously and deliberately adds the population of a medium sized country to the fires of Hell, and tortures them for all eternity. All because they didn't believe in him. A story of natural justice this is not. Statistics from: CIA - The World Factbook https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/xx.html www.gisburne.com

Christianity Divided - Christians rejecting other Christians

Christianity_Divided_-_Christians_rejecting_other_ChristiansDenying that Catholics are Christians is as stupid and ignorant as denying that Nazis were Germans. Heaven - The meaning of the after-life

Heaven_-_The_meaning_of_the_after-lifeWhat's your purpose in life? To serve God and get to Heaven? So when you get there what will your purpose be then? More importantly, what will you do for all eternity? Thankfully, as an atheist, I don't have to consider an eternity of mind-numbing boredom, but it's something that Christians should think about, and maybe review the reality of an eternal existence without pain, struggle or hardship.

Atheist Toolkit

Atheist_ToolkitI'm NOT Nick Gisburne. I present 3 things you will need to argue with a Christian. No, not a chainsaw, club hammer and a machete, here are a couple of books and a DVD which will help you explain your atheist position. Of course you don't NEED to explain your views, but then you won't have the pleasure of wiping that smug, holier-than-thou expression off the face of the prayer junky who has just dissed evolution. If you've ever wondered why Christians can argue like they've been reading the bible every minute of their lives, it's because they probably have. They are taught to defend their faith. So it's time to educate yourself and find some arguments to rebut the lies and fallacies of the religious argument. Step inside, it's all going on in here! Persecution of Jews by Christians, 4th century to c.1800

Persecution_of_Jews_by_Christians,_4th_century_to_c.1800I'm NOT Nick Gisburne. Actions performed in the name of Christianity are featured in this video. This is a history lesson about Christianity. A barrage of events, the story of what people inflicted on the Jews in the name of Christianity. And you thought Christianity was the religion of peace and understanding? Material for this video was found on the Religious Tolerance web site: http://www.religioustolerance.org/jud_pers.htm Comments have been made that 'Catholics are not Christians', which is clearly absurd - implying that the Pope isn't a Christian is just plain stupid. See the following page for more information: http://www.davidmacd.com/catholic/are_catholics_christian.htm The point of the video is that even if none of the people are 'true' Christians (see my video for opinions on what that means), they have persecuted Jews IN THE NAME OF CHRISTIANITY. So my point is, religion is to blame. Whatever name you give it, people who take the Bible as their Holy Book did these things. And just because you think you're not part of the same religion (if you're a Christian YOU ARE!), doesn't mean that your denial of history, or denial that Catholics are Christian, makes Christianity any less responsible. If you deny that Christians persecuted the Jews, you are the same kind of scum who denies the Holocaust happened. There really is no difference. Noah's Ark and other Bible Nonsense - Part 3 of 3

Noahs_Ark_and_other_Bible_Nonsense_-_Part_3_of_3I'm NOT Nick Gisburne. This is the one to watch! If you don't have time to watch all 3, watch this one. The source of all Fundamentalist Christian madness is the Biblical story of Noah and the Flood. The final part gets right to the heart of the matter, the corruption of science by Fundamentalist Christians to try and justify a Bronze-Age myth in the face of overwhelming evidence. Here's the evidence, the science that is stacked up against the myth, and in the end there can only be one winner. This section is almost entirely based on the following web page, which includes full citations and references to source material: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-noahs-ark.html www.gisburne.com
