20th Century Fox
This is the 20th Century Fox logo that was used from 1965-1982 (this version is notable by the "slanted" zero. I found this on an old VHS copy of "Bill Cosby: Himself" that my parents have on tape.

This was a commercial break that aired during "Primetime Live" on WABC-7 in New York during 1990, 1991, or 1992 - I'm not clear on the years though.

This is an HBO Intro and the 1975-1986 Paramount Logo (The "Early 80s" Abstract Mountain). This was taken from the movie "Airplane, though I'm not sure when it was taped. If anyone can help me with the year that this MPAA disclaimer aired (we didn't get a VCR until 1986, but it looks like it was prior to that year), it would be much appreciated!
This was definitely taped in either 1989 or 1990, judging by the fact that this came from "Caddyshack II." This Warner Bros. shield is the 1984-1990 variant of the 1984-1998 Warner Bros. logo (with the "A Warner Communications Company" byline. It also has the classic fanfare over it.
This was taped during the fall of 1986. It aired at the beginning of "Robin Williams: Live at the Met." The classic (and long defunct) "HBO on Location" featured a different stand-up comedian each month. HBO still does this, but they are now the "HBO Comedy Special." Boy do I miss these days!!!!
This was taped in 1986, and aired before "Robin Williams: Live at the Met." My parents started the VCR about five minutes too early, and the result was this collection, and the "Inside the NFL" clip that was almost too irrestible to not show (it's in my library).
I'm not sure what part of 1986 this aired during (the Robin Williams special does not list a date on IMDB.com). There is a promo for the movie "Lifeforce" (I was cringing over this - I've never heard of this movie, and I'm glad I've never seen it - I buested out laughing when the woman says "I love you." The look was priceless!)
Also, just so you know, that right after Robin Williams (at 8/7 Central - an odd time to air a comedy special, since they usually air at 10 o'clock now, after the movie), Lifeforce is on at 9/8 central, and followed by...DUNE! That starts at 11/10 central. Sci-fi classic? Wasn't this supposed to be a long and pointless film?

My parents made video taping an art, as we can all attest to. They either started the VCR too late (in the middle of the now-extinct HBO or Showtime introductions), or too early. this is one such instance where my parents started taping about more than five minutes too early! This is the final minutes of an episode of "Inside the NFL". The rare treat of this is the bizarre video sequence that played under the closing credits. This was a video that a football team made (I think!), and there is also some sweepstakes information. My parents taped this prior to "HBO On Location - Robin Williams: Live at the Met" in 1986. I sort of found this accidentally while going through some tapes - there is also a quick clip of Miss Piggy (which has since mysteriously disappeared since I uploaded this!) - I'm not going to ask what was on this tape prior to Robin Williams, since the only other two specials on this VHS were "Gallagher" specials from Showtime.
This is a variant of the 1982-1996 Orion Logo (the most famous one - the "Starry Sky"), with the "Thru Warner Bros. - A Warner Communications Company" byline. This was from "Caddyshack," and I think my parents taped this in 1988 or 1989. We've since gotten this on DVD, and it is well preserved on the DVD.
Fun fact - this is not the original logo used before "Caddyshack" - there was a combination Warner/Orion logo from 1979-1982 that was used for this movie involving orange and blue squares. I'd like to think this was the ONLY logo Orion had, because it was so nice. the intro of the "Caddyshack" theme plays under it, and sounds so peaceful.

I found this before two different "Gallagher" specials on the same tape - "Over Your Head" (1984) and "The Maddest" (1983). I'm going to say this was 1986 when they taped it, given the Robin Williams special these two Gallagher specials were contained with on the same tape.
This is from a 1989 or 1990 taping of "Mac and Me" (why?!) from Showtime. I like this intro alot. The Orion logo is the 1982-1996 starry sky with the theme from this movie playing under it. Like the "Caddyshack" version, it is nice and pleasant. Enjoy the music.

My parents started the tape a little earlier on this video, which shows more of the Showtime Feature Presentation introduction. the logo is a 1973-1990 (An MCA Company byline) version of The Universal 1963-1990 "Zooming Globe" (I particularly hate the TV version of this logo). this version is silent (thank goodness!). I found this on my VHS copy of "The Great Outdoors."
I also have the same version of this logo with the opening chords of the intro to the movie "Opportunity Knocks." I would be happy to upload it upon request.

This is my June 1994 Jazz performance to the Janet Jackson song "Funky Big Band." The costume is VERY early 1990s. I have really short hair (you can't really see my hair under that hat!) and glasses. I was watching this video while I was copying it, and couldn't believe how tall I was - in fact, I'm pretty much that tall now, except Iwas tall for eleven years old. I was in 5th grade at the time.
This is my June 1993 Jazz dance, to the Madonna song "White Heat." I was ten years old in fourth grade. I have tried to include a shot of what I look like, and though it is quite blurry, because it is a motion shot I did on Windows Movie Maker, it is easier to ID me. Enjoy!

This is a commercial from 1998 that I found on a video. I sort of found it by accident while looking for a completely different commercial. It features a young Derek Jeter discussing his uses for the Discover card. Derek did a lot of commercials back then.
This is my video tribute to the late, great, and legendary Phil Hartman, with clips from "Saturday Night Live." The song is the Linda Ronstadt version of "Goodbye, My Friend."

Thank you for watching.
This is my second (and final) Ballet class performance from June 2001. The song was John Lennon's "Imagine," and because it was too short, my teacher tacked on an extra thirty seconds or so. It is really hard to see me, but I have light brown hair with bangs, and I'm in the introduction.
This is my final Jazz number, from June 2001, when I was in 12th grade. The song is a remixed version of Whitney Houston's "So Emotional." It is pretty hard to see me, but I have brown hair and bangs. In the beginning of the dance, I am on the ground all the way to the right.
This is from my June 2000 dance recital, which was my debut in Ballet. I have light brown hair with bangs, and according to an instructor, the only one who smiled during the whole performance. In actuality, we were all VERY nervous during this performance, as this was our debuts in Ballet. Please be very kind, as it was the first performance night. I don't think we did terrible though.
The song is Elton John's "Blessed."

This is my "Senior Shout Out" from June 2001, when I was in 12th grade. Traditionally, at the two dance schools I attended, the seniors always got to do a final performance together. This was that final performance for the six seniors from my dance school's class of 2001.
The song is the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive." I am the girl in the jeans who "shakes her stuff" four times for my grand exit. This was the third and final performance of this dance, and my mom told me to add the fourth shake. Me and my partner also were trying to do The Hustle, except it wasn't all that great. But, I looked like I was having the most fun of the other five girls.

This is my June 1999 dance performance, when I was sixteen years old in tenth grade. The song is Chic's "Le Freak." I have long light brown hair tied up in a side ponytail, which I believed had to be VERY seventies. This was my first year at the dance school I stayed at until I graduated high school in 2001.
