Lunar Eclipse - March 3rd 2007
Footage of the amazing Eclipse of the Moon that occured on March 3rd 2007. Skywatchers around the all had there eyes to the skies and watched as the moon became a copper colour. This eclipse occured because the earth went in front of the sun and blocked the sunlight from directly hitting the moons surface. Instead sunlight reflected off the earths atmosphere and reached the moons surface giving it an errie coppery look. From my location the eclipse began at 9:40pm and took around an hour for the moon to become the coppery colour.
