This is it, The Story I've been trying to tell for a few months now. I made a rather moody prototype about a month ago that was mostly my emotional perspective and glossed over a lot of facts and events, but I decided if I was going to tell The Story, I might as well tell all of it. This started as a description of the end of my marriage (yes, watch the video), but to tell the whole thing I had to go back a bit- but in retrospect, a 5-year story works out well.
Bear in mind that this is a story of my REAL life, not my career, not my crazy family's story, or any (meh, much) stuff like that. Still, I think it would make a pretty damn good book, if told right- very Douglas Coupland, I think.
I'm pretty proud of the work, the editing, and the narration. There are about three no-no's that I commit, but not many people will catch them, so I'm not worried. THIS has been the project I've been pouring my creative energy into for a while, so now that it's released, I can get on to other business, and make some new creative short movies and stuff.
