Cruel Angel's Thesis (?????????) is the title song from one of the most amazing animes. No, it's not overhyped; it really is amazing.
Sadly, I don't own this song, nor the series. Credit goes to these people:
Cruel Angel's Thesis © Neko Oikawa (lyrics), Hidetoshi Sato (composition)
Eva © ADV Films, Manga Entertainment
The arrangement is by Piano Squall / Michael Gluck. Sheet music is available here: http://www.pianosquall.com/sheet-music . Also, buy GAME, his amazing compilation of video and anime music here: http://www.pianosquall.com/

I was never really happy with how it sounded and I stored it away. Somehow it got lost on my computer. But! I found it, so here it is.
I don't like the way that the entire song is basically just chords, either broken up or not. I need to work on better melodies, themes and motifs...
I recorded this in March- which means: my piano was still out of tune. All negative comments are to be blamed on the crappy microphone and the equally crappy camera.

From Miyazaki's "Laputa: The Castle in the Sky." (????????, Tenku no Shiro Rapyuta)
I don't own this lovely piece, nor the movie, nor any part of the copyright. Yes, I did a repeat of the entire piece ... because it's so awesome that it needed a repeat.

Hey, more Kingdom Hearts music!
I remember this being requested all over the place. So, here it is, a very rough, off-beat interpretation of Night of Fate.
Sheet music (which I didn't use) available here, courtesy of Xald: http://www.squaresound.com/arrangements/file.php?id=917

A performance request from Dan Ceril Opilac. This is "Hallelujah" by Rufus Wainwright, used in Shrek. Sheet music arrangement by Alaric Duban. Use The Google to find it.
I do not own any part of this. The music is © Rufus Wainwright, Puss in Boots belongs to DreamWorks SKG and other people.

Short piano-arranged version of "Traverse Town" from Kingdom Hearts I (and II and Re:Com)
I don't own this song, nor anything about it. Respective copyright holders are composer Yoko Shimomura and publisher Square Enix. (c) 2007 them and their awesomeness.
Sheet music not available; "Improvisation" usually denotes this. Check the sites below; they might have piano sheet music arranged by others:

Tay- I just couldn't resist :D
A piano-solo variation / improvisation on "Chocolate Rain" by Tay Zonday. I couldn't think of a more creative title, so meh. Chocolate Rain © Tay Zonday.
Watch the original, if you haven't already: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTZ2xpQwpA
Listening to this again, I notice that it came out quite a bit darker than I anticipated.

I've always loved this piece. Why? I had to like it, since I got to listen to it so many times while trying to beat all sorts of heartless bosses...
Here's a preview of the upcoming new video... the second Kingdom Hearts Piano Medley. Due to the immense support from all of you, I've decided to make another one. I uploaded the first medley last year on the 18th, and I should have the second one on the same day this year.
It will contain songs from Kingdom Hearts II, Final Mix, and RE:Com. The pieces I'm thinking of including are (in no particular order- yet):
- Memories in Pieces
- Scent of Silence
- Scythe of Pedals
- (The 13th Struggle)
- Namine
- Lord of the Castle
- Fate of the Unknown
- The 13th Reflection
- (Deep Anxiety)
- Rage Awakened
- The Other Promise
- (Castle Oblivion)
- (Showdown at Hollow Bastion)
- A Fight to the Death
I'm not too sure about the ones in parentheses yet- either because It'd be difficult transposing to the key it's in, or just because I don't know it well enough yet :3
Don't ask for sheet music, I have none to give. "Memories in Pieces" and Kingdom Hearts © Square Enix, Yoko Shimomura. Nobuo Uematsu.

My camera is still broken! Hence, sound only.
I'm surprised I haven't played this yet. This was a request from aphrodite1404 with a special arrangement of the song. Personally, I like this a lot better than the version from the FFVII Piano Collection. Also, I spiced it up a bit with improv. And such.
Sheet music is all over the internets. Go look for it, using your best friend: http://google.com
Everything © ???? (Nobuo Uematsu) and Square Enix. I don't own it, sadly.
Picture also © Square Enix, but art credit goes to this person: http://akiba.sub.jp/img/ic20051009aerith.jpg

Ranking currently as number two in a list of pieces composed by Kyle (topped only by "Lonely"), this piece is still wonderful and teaches you a few fine things about composition too!
This is an improvisation on the melody and feel of the original recording. In my opinion, the *feel* of a piece is more important than the notes. It's not perfect, neither in regards to correct notes, nor in how closely it matches the original composition. I do not have sheet music. What I had in front of me were the lyrics, courtesy of was Leela McMullen (KrystalEpyon). Hear her talent here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bs_SO486PfA

A performance request from various people that I gladly accepted- I've always wanted to play this song. This is the theme and leitmotif from "Requiem for a Dream." If you haven't seen this movie, do so now!
Sheet music: Google it. I used a transcription by Dustin Nagel.
I do not own any part of this music. Everything © Clint Mansell / Kronos Quartet. "Requiem for a Dream" is © Hubert Selby, Jr., Darren Aronofsky and other people.

I've always wanted to play this. Bounty Hunter was written for full orchestra; about 58 instruments. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was about 57 pieces short and had to compress Tallarico's beautiful composition into a piano solo. This is an arrangement by ear. I do not have sheet music, but official arrangements are on sale. Buy them, they are excellent.

I'm still alive! [t'was a triumph, great success...]
I recorded this about a month ago - sorry, no video. I only had a microphone on me, and I'm still trying to find a video camera for recording.
This improv turned out a bit more harmonious than I expected, so here you are. It's primarily an experiment; there are "mistakes," if you see misplaced harmonies and very intentional accidentals as such. When I improvise, I tend to imagine a scene, like for a film, then fit the music to the mood of the scene. Here I was imagining a storm, so hence the title.

So, I finally decided to record an improvisation on the piano.
I've been improvising for over two years, and now I feel confident with posting something. I've played around with this melody for a few days and I think I'll incorporate it into my next movie as the theme/motif.
Influences: Yoko Shimomura, Nobuo Uematsu, Philip Glass [after just watching "The Illusionist" and enjoying his score for the film]
No, no sheet music available, don't ask (please?)

Music inspired by the comic "Inverloch" by Sarah Ellerton.
[watered-down version of how I came up with this in case you haven't read Inverloch]
This is a melody that I came up with in honor of the passing of a certain character. I hoped to capture the tone and feel of the moment with this composition... did I succeed?
On another note, I'm not too sure if "martyr" is a fitting title for the said character, but it brings across the meaning. Sorta. Also, I've already named the song and I'm not changing it :3

Yes, I like medleys.
This is a smallish medley featuring piano arrangements from my current favorite orchestral scores, Pirates of the Caribbean. Yes, I did make a slight edit. A single wrong note ruined the entire piece, and that just didn't work out for me. The songs, in order:
• Davey Jones
• The Medallion Calls (variation)
• Hoist The Colours
?? © Klaus Badelt, Hans Zimmer, Gore Verbinski
Pirates of the Caribbean © Walt Disney
