This is largely identical to a vid I did back in August. Thundercat reminded me that now that I have Vegas I could do what I wanted to do in the first place.....

WHAT??! Forgive my almost screaming into the camera. The visor was up, which means I have to talk louder just to hear myself, and the bike is loud. Very, very loud. Which didn't come through on cam....unfortunately. I know this one is long, but half way through are a few interesting bits.

Some people have asked, and so I abide. This is what it looks like from my perspective when I do them, as well as some discussion of how to do them, what to do and what not to do. Keeping a big bike balanced in a 10ft diameter circle at 3-5mph is a pain in the @$$. So now you should know what to do and how to do it. Edit: When I speak of throttling out of the turns, accelerating itself also acts to straighten the bike out, which aids ALOT on getting that 600 pound beast to stand back up.

Ok, so its not NEW, just different. The slot in the pipe is my fault, trying to take a shortcut and rush things. The motor oil under the drill was used as coolant. If you're cutting metal with metal, coolants are a good thing, just learn to ignore the smoke if you use something like motor oil.

Riding around New Orleans, discussing the renewal of a urban community after a disaster.

Decided to go out and spend a few minutes messing around in a parking lot. Did a few full-lock low speed revolutions around a streetlight, and a few emergency stops. The first two were done from approx. 35mph, the first without the rear brake, the second with. The second stop was approximately 20 feet shorter than the first. The third was done from almost 55mph. There's a surprise fuckup in there too.

Sadly this is the last of the vlog footage from the trip. I've got 1 more piece of raw video to go through, but the chances of it getting used are nil. I apologize for the rather abrupt ending, there was more after we left the chinese place, but somehow the camera got turned off, and the file was corrupted. Half an hour of chatting is gone forever. With any luck there will be one more to come, but I highly doubt it will see the light of day.
