His shots of 189 secret spy satellites are the subject of a new exhibit -- despite the fact that, officially speaking, the satellites don't exist. The Other Night Sky, on display at the University of California at Berkeley Art Museum through September 14, is only a small selection from the 1,500 astrophotographs Paglen has taken thus far.

Take a break and visit the "Very Large Array" off Us60 in New Mexico. The Very Large Array is the most powerful, flexible, and widely-used radio telescope in the world. Dedicated in 1980, it has been used for more than 10,000 astronimical observing projects.
Also discussing my progress as I try and ride 1000 miles in under 24 hours on my Saddle Sore 1000.

I attached my video camera to a cat III night vision eyepiece and this was the result. Perhaps unimpressive to the layperson, but to an avid amateur astronomer, the results were impressive for a first attempt! I plan to do more.

We take the path of an Asteroid buzzing it's path through the earths atmosphere. Lets follow its journey through Space and beyond.
All images are real and taken from the Hubble telescope. Incredible to watch, best viewed in full screen for better effects.
