Jun, es un chico que dedica su tiempo (todo, puesto que no va a clase) a comprar por Internet objetos supuestamente malditos. Un día recibe un misterioso paquete que no esperaba con una tarjeta que decía "¿Le darás cuerda?". En el interior de la maleta encuentra lo que en apariencia es una muñeca junto con una llave para darle cuerda. Le da cuerda y de repente ésta comienza a moverse como si estuviera viva. Ella se presenta como Shinku y a partir de entonces se queda a vivir allí, obligando a Jun a ser su médium y "sirviente", pero las cosas no serán tan sencillas: otras muñecas aparecen retando a Shinku al misterioso "Alice Game". Esto lo hacen para convertirse en una especie de perfección suprema a la que ellas llaman Alice; si ganan en el juego, la ganadora toma la Rosa Mística de la perdedora, la cual al perder su tesoro se transforma en una simple muñeca inmóvil.
