Free (The Prelude) by Leigh Richards Backstage, after the "World's Toughest Cowboy" rodeo, As the horses patiently waited to be loaded onto a truck, I sensed their thoughts. I knew they were thinking of another time and place, Where they ran free. The images got stronger, as I stood next to these strong, Handsome steeds. In my mind's eye, I pictured the places that they Most wanted to be... free again. This is Part 1(The Prelude), of "Free".
