Carl broke off and Varja and I ride the Pali. Little commentary and a lot of coasting on this video. I've also sped up all the scenes, so every scene looks like it's fast. That way, you won't get too bored too fast.

No comments here. Just heading up to the Pali Highway, and tightening my jacket forearm straps.

Everybody is looking for a v570 now, and you can't find cheap super deals for that camera now.

We break off and I finally go home. It's been a decent ride, with nobody going down, no cops, and a general good time.

We end up skipping Punchbowl Memorial Cemetary, and we head through my neighborhood. We roll up the Pali.

No comments here. Just heading up the old Nuuanu Pali Road. It's a nice narrow ride.

No stunting here. Just a cruise to the Pali Highway, near my home.

Yo yo yo A-pa-pa-ne! (Himatione sanguinea). Search for Apapane on Flickr to get a good image of this bird. I can't use someone else's pics, but it's worth looking up. They're dazzling red birds.

Deciding not to go further, I turn around and head back to the bike. A couple assures me that it's just a different view, and I didn't miss out.

A view at the lookout ended up being an unplanned and unexpected hike.

This is the end of the road up Waimea Canyon, and the final lookout.

Well, since I'm all the way here, I might as well stop and take a peek.

I got on another Cruise with TGR. Decently paced as usual, however, one of the riders went down @ the end of the video. I don't have the actual footage of the crash. I was coming up on the hairpin and just about to accelerate through the turn when I saw a bunch of riders helping the downed rider and his bike so I pulled over. Its hard to see even in the original footage but if your able to, there is a crowed in the upper-right of the screen in the last few seconds of the vid. The rider was taken to the hospital as a precaution and have heard he's fine now. Ride Safe all...and WEAR YOUR GEAR!!!

This is a recompilation of the Thanksgiving Ride. Warning - it's long, and you might not want to watch all of it. We resume riding, and we leave the Kahaluu Gas Station. We're on Kamehameha Highway and enjoy the Kahaluu coast...... A couple of the crew show off their stuff on the Thanksgiving Day ride....... 16 Bikers ride 13 Turns and a few of them smoke their tires for the tourists. Is it tire warming or just to show off? hee hee... We head up the Pali Highway, and I have my hairpin turn-of-happiness. Don't mess with that Harley Rider! hahahaha! I mention the recent visit of President George Bush and Secretary of State Condellezza Rice, and the HPD (Honolulu Police Dept.) motorcycle motorcade crash, where 3 officers went down....... We go through the Pali Tunnels and end up at the Old Nuuanu Pali Road. One of the officers had his leg amputated because the injuries were so severe. I head up to the Pali Lookout. The Old Pali Road was the road was a way to get from one side of the island to the other. They've since turned the road into a state park & scenic lookout.
