Stray cats are everywhere and their numbers can grow very quickly if left to breed. Lethal methods of controlling their population are outdated and inhumane. T-N-R (trap-neuter-return) is the most effective and humane method that works! The stray cat population in the U.S. is estimated to be approx. 70 to 100 million. Uncared for, homeless cats lead lonely, miserable lives. But when neutered, returned to where they were trapped and fed on a daily basis, they can live very happy, healthy lives. It would be ideal to adopt out every stray cat, but unfortunately, statistics tell us that there are just not enough homes available to adopt all the existing stray cats.
