Making an extremely last minute decision at about midnight on the Friday night, Kazzart and Kwai Chi decided to go to Malaga on the south coast of Spain for Kaz's 29th birthday. Promptly booking cheap flights and accomodation online, we departed VERY early the next morning (after about 2 hrs sleep) and arrived in Malaga by 11am to beautiful blue skies and sunshine. This is day 1 of 3 very relaxing, chilled out days in Malaga. There isn't very much to this vid really as we were too exhausted from lack of sleep + the morning's adventures of nearly missing our flight (will explain another time!) But I do love the sound of waves on the beach..

Chambao es una banda de música flamenca-electrónica, conocida como Flamenco Chill. Originales de Málaga, Andalucía, España, su música mezcla los sonidos del flamenco y palos (formas) con música electrónica. Según el dialecto andaluz, un "Chambao" es una tienda de campaña improvisada para protegerse del sol y la brisa de la tarde en la playa, utilizada normalmente en la noche de San Juan. Chambao nació cuando el músico holandés Henrik Takkenberg conoció a tres malagueños (María del Mar, Eduardo y Dani, que dejó el grupo en 2005) en la barriada malagueña de Pedregalejo y decidieron formar un grupo musical fusionando el flamenco con sonidos electrónicos. Su primer trabajo, Flamenco Chill, fue un éxito de ventas. Su segundo disco, Endorfinas en la mente, ya sin Henrik entre ellos, les afianzó en el panorama musical, consiguiendo un Premio Ondas. El tercer trabajo de Chambao se llama Pokito a poko y, de los co-fundadores de la formación ya sólo queda La Mari, vocalista del grupo, que se ha hecho rodear de nuevos músicos para continuar con Chambao.
