Hey Everyone, here it is finally!!!! The second episode of Pigeon John!!!! Enjoy!! Pigeon John got his start at open mic nights with the likes of The Pharcyde, Freestyle Fellowship and Jurassic 5. Largely influenced by their model of laidback music with a message, Pigeon John has gone on to create a unique sound and charismatic live performance that separates him from any other MC today. Recently dropping the album “Pigeon John’s Summertime Pool Party” on the successful independent label Quannum Projects, Pigeon John is quickly making a name for himself. Come watch Pigeon John as he shares with us how he got his name and style of word flow on this edition of Live Bands.

LiveBands Bittersweet Part 1

The band Melou from Boston was in Barcelona to record their debut album. They did all kind of performances around the city, in bars, clubs and on the street. I shot this video in a small pub in Barcelona. It features the first song on their new album "communication". http://www.melou-music.com

Acid Reign, made up of MCs Gajah and Beond, have been working on their craft together for 13 years, and it shows. Beond's lyrical style and delivery can be characterized as conversational but with witty and clever word-play. His approach is straightforward, using laymans terms so everyone can relate to his music. Quite the opposite, Gajah has a rapid-fire vocal delivery. He favors the avant-garde, creating patterns and lyrics with hidden meanings. Together they’ve developed a unique sound that sets them apart from just about every other hip hop group in the game.
