[watered-down version of how I came up with this in case you haven't read Inverloch] This is a melody that I came up with in honor of the passing of a certain character. I hoped to capture the tone and feel of the moment with this composition... did I succeed? On another note, I'm not too sure if "martyr" is a fitting title for the said character, but it brings across the meaning. Sorta. They worked with the league commissioner to get the kids' names and access to the field to setup their equipment the morning of the game. He was the only one in on it. NBC Sports worked with them and got them the jumbotron and the blimp. This is one of over 70 different missions Improv Everywhere has executed over the past six years in New York City.
