A full function home built RC Hovercraft's maiden voyage.

Here is our hovercraft finished. The seat, thrust engines and steering are fitted. It didn't have quite the forward speed we would have liked, but at least it worked. The thrust engines are the same type of Victa 2 strokes that we used for lift.

This 20 minute video was taken at the main event of the 2003 National hover rally at Troy Ohio. Hovercraft racing at this level involves completing a race circuits over both land and water, with banked turns, twists, chicanes, jumps and drops.

A Project Hovercraft in the testing stages on water for the first time. This Hovercraft is big enough to carry another RC car on its loading deck. The whole model is in the style of a Police Hovercaft and is in the same colours as the local Police Helicopter.
