The law states that "the induced electromotive force in a closed loop equals the negative of the time rate of change of magnetic flux through the loop." This video was dedicated to the memory of Michael Faraday. The video was directed and narrated by Mustafa Daif with the help of Younis Ali and Ebtisam Anzoor. This video was produced for EduMation. An illustrative animation of Lenz's Law where a short-circuited coil (loop) moves in a magnetic field. Before the coil enters the field, there is no induced current and the coil moves fast. When the coil enters the field, an induced current is established inside the coil and so another magnetic field is induced around the coil. Consequently, the movement of the coil is slowed down.
