I created this video to showcase the wonderful fantasy artwork of various artists set to the beautiful "Dante's Prayer" by Loreena McKennitt. Watch and listen carefully...the artwork flows in sync with the beautiful lyrics.

I heard this song and wanted to make a video that matched the lyrics. However, I don't have any vaugly Arthur related Anime's.... I heard this song and wanted to make a video that matched the lyrics. However, I don't have any vaugly Arthur related Anime's.... so I used Fullmetal Alchemist. The story of the video... which goes with the anime in some ways and less so in others. Dante and Holenhiem had a child, Envy, who of course died and was resurected in the Homunculi he is now. Dante twists Envy's mind so that he blames his fate on his father. Envy is also envious (har) of the fact that Holenheim had other children whom he raised and lived with for a while. Dante is simply unhappy that he left her for another woman. So, Dante uses Envy to get to Ed and Al (though mostly Ed in the AMV) and she is able to take care of Holenheim herself. Envy isn't happy that she took away his revenge, but in the end he still follows his mother's wishes which results in his own death (trip to the gate is death enough in this little AMV). Hope that it clears up the video a little! It makes sense to me, so maybe someone else will get it. Let me know what you think, even if you are having negative thoughts.
