Sports Videos Online

About a year ago, I did some slideshow work for a wonderful local photographer (James McCormick, Studio Coburg). The software is the first I ever started using: Photodex Gold. It's not a bad little program...but I have outgrown it some. ;) Studio Coburg (responsible for all the photography in this video) - I highly recommend them. This is part of the project that has been keeping me so preoccupied for the last several weeks! It is the montage of wedding photos (which turned out beautifully! Their photog did a really nice job!) and the location is in Arizona - beautiful place for a wedding!! I'm still editing the video footage of the wedding and that will be too long (and personal) to put up, but perhaps I will be able to post some of it - if the Bride and Groom give me appropriate permission to. :D

I love this song...its perfect in every way for Lucy (except that she's a she and not a he *wink*).

My other hobby...playing with movie clips. If you know the story, you'll remember Riddick has his eyes 'shined' (which helps him see in the dark) when he was doing a stint in a slam...made him see the world a little differently. In truth, this ability is somehow bestowed on him...an inhereitence right of being Furyan. Anyway, I had fun with effects in this one...making the clips more into a view of how Riddick sees. Clear as mud? Ya...probably. Song: "Animal" by Three Days Grace. For the record: I have nothing against Photoshop itself. I adore Photoshop...what I have a difficult time with is the standard of 'beauty' forced on all of us by the media. This is merely a personal comment in support of the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty. This is a picture of Jessica Sierra (of American Idol fame) that I photoshopped from a mugshot taken at a very low point in her recent history. Using the image only to point out the sur-reality that is used in the media as THEE standard for 'beauty'. Bullshit I say. (Side Note: it was also an experiment in WMM. It's not THAT bad of a an editing tool!)

Someday I'll get the lighting right, lol!

Space essentials - the definite must haves of intergalactic travel. I wish we had 11 options...if we did, I'd most assuradly be packing a copy of "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". Seems like it would be uncommonly useful in such a circumstance. *GRIN* (even though my video camera is busted...doesn't mean I can't still play *wink*)

Photographer: James McCormick, Studio Coburg This video is a good sampling of James' wedding portfolio, and also another promo I put together for him about the same time as Weddings Promo 1. I'd give an awful lot to have known about him when I was getting married. *sigh*...such is life.

For his retirement from Southwest Airlines, I asked my incredibly talented friend BluEyedDaizy to design and edit 2 most EXCELLENT videos which I could show at his retirement BLOWOUT Party in Scottsdale, AZ. Everyone went NUTS when we showed them on the multi-monitors at the Sports Bar where we hosted the party. There are many pic's from our wedding, our family and my husband's illustrious and infamous career as a pilot for Braniff and Southwest Air. Enjoy!

Sedona's venture in a new life is about to begin. We let her know she will be missed. Especially one part of her.
