Posted by puddysma Rather than draw the lines and label them "conservative" and "liberal" why not "orthodox" and "unorthodox"...i think it would be perhaps fairer and less misleading. Your terminology suggests politics as i hear it...unless that is what you intended. more... If that is the case i must say i think your lines are misleading as i am politically conservative but not orthodox by any means even tho i am very spiritual. When one begins to try and categorize, they make unfair generalizations and i am not sure if that serves your intention very well. i think you are separating people into camps as an effort to understand in your own mind...but when you try to draw such specific lines you sabaotage your own effort to understand...i think. i am like Garry here...i am not going to allow myself to be drawn back into this futile debate because in the end it is not a debate...it is people tossing around their own personal thoughts and feelings.. Nothing wrong with that per se but eventually people get defensive and then it tends to become personal and we all know how ugly personal politics can be. You kinda say it yourself in the title of this video..."Battle..." Do we really need another battle? The last one gave little quarter and took too many hostages...was not pretty or even satisfying.
