So whatever happens, DON'T change your mind. This is a solid promise to yourself and the beginning of a miracle. Step 2. Write It Down. Writing this goal down engages your mind, emotions and actions. This builds your commitment to get to the top. Your mind thinks it, your heart feels, your body acts it. Take this seriously. Use a notebook you like or a fancy paper. Make sure to put the date on it. Each day, take some time to write it out and read it. Write it in the present tense. Write " I'm a ...in XYZ company". Be sure to use "I am". Step 3. Pretend It. Do you day dream? Yes, you do. Create a day dream about your goal to get to the top of your compensation plan. Let's do it now. Relax your body, mind and emotions. Pretend that you're at the top, this moment. Watch a movie of you in your mind. You hear your name called, you see thousands of reps and hear their thunderous applause. You feel the excitement. Smile, yes smile big. You're at the top and lovin' it. Day dream for about 10 minutes or more. The best times to pretend this way are when you wake up and just before you go to sleep. This will explode your belief. Step 4. Work Your Plan. Plan your work and work your plan. Decide on the actions you'll take daily to get to the top. Then take these actions. Be honest with yourself. Do you know what actions you need to take? Do you need some skills? Your actions should be in the areas of Prospecting, Presenting, and Closing. Don't forget personal development. When you plan your work and work your plan, you move in the direction of your goal. Give this your best shot every day. Step 5. Let Go, Let Gratitude. When you make up your mind, write it down, pretend it, work your plan, you've done your part. Really you have. Simply count your blessings and give thanks for them. Let the miracle work it self out. Don't fret or worry. Be at peace and know you're at the top. Give thanks for other areas of your life. Help others in gratitude. Let go. Let gratitude flow in your life. Even in the way you treat other people and react to situations. There's no where for you to go but the top. These simple steps have helped a lot of people get to the top of their compensation plans. At a Human rights Conference held at the University of Leicester in England on the 12th May 2002 the right wing British Journalist Yvonne Ridley who was arrested and held by the Taliban made some startling statements concerning Islam and her treatment at the hands of the taliban."When I was released everyone expected me to relay horrific tales of brutality (but the) Taliban treated me with great respect" and with great deliberation she added "..very very well". She went on to say that whilst the taliban had its faults but they were on the whole 'likeable'. However this was not what the west wanted to hear, they could not be seen to be bombing a people who were 'likeable. In exchange for her treatment at the hands of the Taliban she promised them she would read the Koran upon her return to the UK. As a result of this she claimed that what she discovered about Islam was an eye opener , describing Islam as "a great unifier, a religion of social justice, it transcends race and national borders. Islam has inspired more Scholars, mystics and poets then soldiers" going on to say "since the crusades the west has held a stereotypical image of Islam, (that) women are subjugated is a nonsense. I admire the way it supports and promotes women." adding how people often mix up religion and cultures.
