" The Eschaton: Nightfall Special Edition is a new edition of Strange Company's Eschaton: Nightfall, the second part in the Eschaton series inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft.
Nightfall Special Edition was developed for Strange Company's Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, "The Machinima Showcase". It includes improved character skins, new models, extensive lip synching, character emotions and blinking.

What? Where? What's going on?
If you haven't seen Eschaton: Darkening Twilight, you'll be a little mystified. It may help to know that Markham is a former member of the same organisation as Aller, Delta Green, an organisation that became corrupted some time in the early 21st century by the forces of the Cthulhu Mythos. It may also help to know that Cerise met Markham and prevented him from killing himself- she herself was changed, physically, at around the same time as DG went sour. Lastly, it may help to know that following an encounter with a manifestation of the Great Old One known as Daoloth, Markham has become convinced that, as prophesied, the Great Old Ones have awoken and are in the process of taking back the earth.
