We stayed at the Sherton on the Falls on the 16th floor. Wednesday nights there are fireworks over the Falls and I was able to film them.

An ice boom of steel pontoons stretches across the Niagara River to prevent ice from entering from Lake Erie. The ice boom is removed in the spring, and ice flows move downstream.
