In the dramatic conclusion to this 3 part series, Skimo is incarcerated in the local prison, and meets a fellow felon known only as "V" - (he was named after an ice cream).
"V" warns Skimo of the impending danger of the political situation, Skimo repents, and is paid a visit by his old companion, Frooper, and the daughter of the owner of that famous 5-Star Hotel.
After gratefully accepting her generous offer of posting bail (the concept of which, unfortunately, neither of them comprehend, yet they are both far too polite to inquire after it's meaning), Frooper devises a plan of his own to get Skimo out of prison.
Frooper decides that to free Skimo from prison they must take advantage of that well known, but little-used-of-late theatrical construct, the deus ex machina.
Finally, Skimo decides that sometimes, your fish is much better off without any side dish at all.
