Thanks to KrisSHred for playing such a wonderful rendition of this song on guitar! I decided to do it on piano just reading from the chord sheets. I didn't use any microphones or anything just thebuilt in camera mic, so You cant really hear much of the uniqities of my voice. Ill have to do a few more covers the way i did the Cold Water cover, where I plug in to my studio and put the sound to the muted video later on!

Then recorded a bassline with my guitar (changed the frequencies to more bassy), added another guitar, a second voice, played the keys on my synthesizer (strings), and programmed the drums (crash, closed hihiat, bassdrum, snare). The first recording (guitar and voice) was ONE track, that's why the vocals are a bit soft now - I couldn't push them up cuz the guitar would have been too loud then ;) ABOUT THE STRUCTURE OF THE SONG: The song has got no verse or chorus. It consists out of 7 parts, as you can find in 70s Art-Rock or in today's Progressive-Rock. That makes the song individual. I like this way of songwriting. I've loved the music of Peter Paul and Mary ever since I heard them. So here's my rendition. The song was originally written by Gordon Lightfoot. I made a percussion MIDI track to accompany the song and also added a bassline (played with my guitar).
