Graphic Packaging to create 160 new jobs

Graphic Packaging Holding Company announced plans to bring in 160 new jobs to Kalamazoo, Michigan… by expanding one of its two factories. Graphic Packaging operates a paperboard mill and the folding-carton plant at.
The Michigan Economic Development Corporation says that the Kalamazoo expansion will allow Graphic Packaging to "provide additional paperboard packaging solutions to multinational food, beverage and other consumer product companies," including Kraft Foods Inc., Anheuser-Busch Cos., General Mills Inc. and Molson Coors Brewing Co.
According to MEDC, The 160 new jobs would pay an average weekly wage of $746 and include health care benefits. In addition, The MEDC estimates the expansion will create an additional 217 spin-off jobs in the Kalamazoo-area economy.
