My final attempt at the Diction Challenge.
I've raised the bar. (Thanks to pduff for the motivation.)
I bought a bit of baking powder and baked a batch of biscuits. I brought a big basket of biscuits back to the bakery and baked a basket of big biscuits. Then I took the big basket of biscuits and the basket of big biscuits and mixed the big biscuits with the basket of biscuits that was next to the big basket and put a bunch of biscuits from the basket into a biscuit mixer and brought the basket of biscuits and the box of mixed biscuits and the biscuit mixer to the bakery and opened a tin of sardines.

My attempt at the "Diction Challenge (from hell)"
and now I REALLY want a biscuit (without the tin of sardines)
My attempt at the tongue-tripping paragraph offered up by SedonaLeigh. What gets me about this is that I wonder if any broadcasters from the Golden Age of Radio ever had to deliver a rapid-fire news report about baskets of biscuits. I'll bet Edward R. Murrow never had to do this on the air: "Here in London the German bombs are falling like Big Bavarian Baskets of Mixed Biscuits Blasting the Bakery of Bigger Biscuit Baskets Beyond Belief! Good night and good luck!"
Talk about "Air-Biscuits", eh??

Here is the text of this fun creative challenge:
"I bought a bit of baking powder and baked a batch of biscuits. I brought a big basket of biscuits back to the bakery and baked a basket of big biscuits. Then I took the big basket of biscuits and the basket of big biscuits and mixed the big biscuits with the basket of biscuits that was next to the big basket and put a bunch of biscuits from the basket into a biscuit mixer and brought the basket of biscuits and the box of mixed biscuits and the biscuit mixer to the bakery and opened a tin of sardines."
Thanks Sedona for the FUN challenge! :)

Here is her Diction Challenge video, in case you want to give it a try yourself and post a video response:

The photo is one I took of Pigeon Point Lighthouse on the California coastline.
The music is “Less Than a Pearl” by Enya; I chose it because I have an Apple iBook, and the beginnin' of this song sounds a LOT like the startup sound of my APPLE! LOL, so that seemed to go really well with the "computer" theme of the vid! LOL

Well, it was only a question of time when I was going to do one of these videos after browsing around you tube and live video. I made this at the end of 2007 in Autumn and was about to make a whole series of blog videos but I stopped because I became too busy. I hope to continue making new blogs for 2008 and really get into it. I found this challenge really testing and it took me a few days to master which is a long time.

This was part of CollectiveSoul's September collaboration by NobodysChild99. I chose SedonaLeigh2007's Diction Challenge From Hell (back in March) as her signature vid- not easy to do when choosing among vids that showcase her humor, her badass editing skills, her intellect, and her sex-appeal.
I chose the Diction Challenge because it was the first vid I think I'd ever responded to of hers and it still haunts me to this day, as I'm sure it did the many other members of LV and YouTube who tried it.
I challenge SedonaLeigh2007

I tried my best... did not really work... but i tried... what a jurney
the quality of the video might be bad, i am testing the low resolution on my digital camera...
NOTE: This has been beaten, see "12 Seconds" on my profile.
Zen and the art of tongue twisters.
I am new to LV and I didn't know what a HUGE deal this challenge was until after I did it. The first video I saw was MaryClark so I thought 15 seconds was standard. I am very proud of this achievement, it is like the sheep sheering record I saw in new zealand... memorable.

Oh dear. I failed appalingly... but lacking ablity to all ready say simple words, and not particalarly wanting the new life time dream of being a radio presenter, I think I did pretty, well... not good... but not Morogo bad bad. Maybe Morogo bad... but not bad bad?!
Can you guys tell what I'm saying?
Here's the evil thing:
I bought a bit of baking powder and baked a batch of biscuits. I brought a big basket of biscuits back to the bakery and baked a basket of big biscuits. Then I took the big basket of biscuits and the basket of big biscuits and mixed the big biscuits with the basket of biscuits that was next to the big basket and put a bunch of biscuits from the basket into a biscuit mixer and brought the basket of biscuits and the box of mixed biscuits and the biscuit mixer to the bakery and opened a tin of sardines.
