One of my first college roommates will be moving to NY (from our homestate, TX) after I've known her now for 15 years - this was our last time to hang out together before she moves. Towards the end of our first year as dorm roomies, while we were talking late one night as we did often, we discovered her mom was my aunt's cancer nurse and her mom was there when my aunt died (she also my godmother and namesake). We formed a special bond ever since. Sidenote: She was my roommate while I dated my first love who died a few years ago.
