Star Trek and Sci Fi Conventions are amazing! It's such a unique opportunity to spend time with the fans.

OTAKON 2007 ONE: (the first of four videos) Thursday, July 19 Registration Day through Friday's first chaos beginning. For anime and manga fans, this is the event they have eagerly awaited all year since the prior year's convention ended. During that year they create their costumes and dress their dolls, gather friends and make new ones. Very few cell phones come out, but the cameras do because this is a time of Make-Believe where every female is beautiful, strong and courageous, and every male is a sweeping, flying hero. This is the time where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, when the meek trumpet and sing and dance. It does not matter the age of the damsels or gents because at Otakon, time stands still and a Universe explodes into new birth! Otakon Anime Convention is one of the largest of its kind in the United States. Baltimore becomes a full weekend of Magick for both the thousands (about 20 thousand to 24 thousand attend annually) of fans, tourists and citizens of the city. It's also an anticipated event for numerous hotels, parking facilities, restaurants etc. in the area.

The famous Hollies at their fan's Hollies Carousel Convention held at Eastbourne, England on the 1st April 2006. Current Hollies lineup is Peter Howarth, lead singer,Steve Lauri,vocals and guitar, Ian Parker, Keyboards, Ray Stiles (Formally of Mud),bass guitar and vocals, and orignal band members, Tony Hicks, vocals and lead guitar and Bobby Elliott (the drummer's drummer) on drums.

Minister Debra Rodman and daughter Kayla come to Nashville Tn. After getting rested up from the long drive from Wisconson and a trip to the zoo Saturday, I arranged for an interview Sunday after church for our friends here on YouTube. We share scriptures together and pray together during our evening worship service on line. Being that this was thanksgiving week our message was on how we need to be thankful for the goodness and mercy of God. Ministra Debra reads from Colossians 3:15 "And Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called into one body. and be ye Thankful." After our interview Minister Rodman, her daughter, Irish and Judy friends here in Nashville and myself toured the Nashville Gaylord Hotel and business center located adjacent to the Grand Ole Opry. The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center is in downtown Nashville, Tenn. It spans over 40 acres of running streams, cascading waterfalls, pedestrian bridges and 12 greenhouses.
